The final destinations of the my trip were in Ephesus and Kusadasi. Visiting the Temple of Artemis was a really special experience. Although the temple is in near total ruins and nothing more than a few pillars were standing, I felt the presence/connection still very much in the space. The fierceness of the Goddess Artemis, where the priests that worshiped her in the Artemisian cult, had symbols of their scrotum sacs cut out as  sacrifices to adorn her.

Visiting Ephesus was an amazing experience too. It just leaves one in wonder and in awe of it.  The Virgin Mary chapel where she was believed to had lived after Jesus died, was a beautiful experience. The presence was strong and compassionate.
